FSMS provides a range of training programs including:
Food Safety Supervisors Course - HACCP & Food Safety Management Legislation requires every NSW food handler to have food handling skills and knowledge commensurate with their work activity. This course covers the principles of HACCP and food safety management and provides food safety supervisors with the training to satisfy this legislative requirement. Food Handler Course - General This course provides general food safety training for all food handlers and satisfies the NSW legislative requirement (FSS 3.2.2) that every food handler must have food handling skills and knowledge commensurate with their work activity. Food Handler Course - Temporary Events FSMS understands the high risk associated with food for sale at temporary events and has developed a training course specifically for event organizers, food safety managers and food operators. This course covers pre-event planning, risk assessment, regulation, legislation, food safety plans and post event analysis. Courses-Food Hygiene for Food Handlers Refresher This day course is aimed at reinforcing critical food hygiene knowledge and skills for food handlers. The 'Food Hygiene for Food Handlers Refresher' course provides practical training in new food safety procedures and any changes to the organisations Food Safety Program. Local Government & State Regulators - Evidence Gathering & Prosecution Techniques FSMS offers a unique training opportunity for Local Government EHO's and Regulators. This course is presented by our Principal Consultant who has twenty six (26) years experience in Local Government at the forefront of Environmental Health & Compliance. The course is designed to improve staff confidence and performance, establish procedural consistency, identification of proofs and defences, drafting of briefs, notices and orders, photographic evidence and presentation techniques.
The above courses do not include formal assessment or the issuing of formal certificates. A Participation Certificate is issued. |
